Lynette Matyshock lives in the Victorian Village of Ferndale, CA. For the past four years, she has dealt with flooding from a creek in her backyard that has resulted in 19 inches of rain in her front yard. She has been just inches away from having water in her house.

She had tried sandbags and hay bales, but neither kept the water away from her house. Friends in Carlotta suggested that she call AquaDams®. She did and is thrilled with the results. "The results were great. It's the best investment I've ever made" she said.

3 AquaDams were installed for Lynette. One 30" x 60', one 30" x 25' and one 30" x 14'. "I used to have lots of silt under my house because the sandbags and hay bales weren't successful in keeping the water out", she said.

"After my first year of using AquaDams®, I have no silt". The AquaDams® were placed around her house including her driveway. Matyshock said she would inflate and deflate one section of the AquaDam® at her driveway entrance and it was driven over 1,000 times.

"It never leaked," Matyshock said. "It worked great. It allowed me to have access to my driveway and garage all winter while still protecting my house." Matyshock said it was very easy to inflate and deflate. "I used a garden hose and it took about 40 minutes," she said.

Matyshock was home when they installed the AquaDam®, but could have been at work. "It took them about an hour," she said. They used a sump pump to get water from the creek to inflate the AquaDam®. Matyshock purchased the AquaDam® products, and AquaDams® will store the products for her until the rainy season starts up again in November.
