The water was only knee deep in the middle of the lake. Smaller AquaDams® could have been used, but the contract called for larger AquaDams®. This 100' long segment took approximately 3 hours to install and inflate.

The completed installation. All backups are in place and dewatering is already underway. Notice the lighthouse (left side) now. The water around it has been completely drained, leaving a mud flat. The orange screen is preventing fish from entering the sump hole and getting sucked into the discharge pumps.

This is a connection. Both of the fill tubes extend out through the coupling collar. The attached segments look like one continuous tube, making a watertight seal, because of the internal pressure of the AquaDams®.

Moving the rolled-up AquaDams® from shore out to the end of the cofferdam. This was fast and easy with the use of the personal watercraft. These were also used to transfer personnel across the lake. Life vests were mandatory even though the lake was only about 5' deep.
