Saddle River, NJ (2003)

This is a very slow moving stream, but the rule is ALWAYS maintain a higher head of water inside the AquaDam® than the surrounding water level.

The length of this AquaDam® has been predetermined so that it will stop directly at the opposite shoreline. You cannot get in a hurry. The pumps have to work. Once a head of water has been established inside the AquaDam®, the ropes are let out in 2' intervals, which will unroll the AquaDam 1 foot at a time.

This clearly shows the head pressure built up inside the AquaDam®. It is now time to slip the ropes and allow the AquaDam® to unroll another foot or two.

One step at a time! Notice how high the AquaDam® is sitting above the surrounding water.
