The ropes are a crucial part of installing the AquaDam® in moving water. We started out with a smaller AquaDam (4' high x 60' long). This smaller AquaDam® was placed upstream from the main AquaDam® to block the current.

You can see the 4' high AquaDam® blocking the current with white water at the end of it. The 8' high AquaDam® has been successfully installed, flooding the water behind it, making the 4' high AquaDam® appear small.

An excavator was used to put fill material behind the AquaDam®. The bucket helped hold the AquaDam® in place during installation. Fill materials were placed behind the AquaDam® once it was completely filled with water. Additional protective cloth (black) was used along side the AquaDam® to prevent abrasion which could damage the unit.
