AquaDam® Removal
Rogue River, Grants Pass, OR (2003)

At the end of the first AquaDam® and the start of the second, the water will be let out of the second dam. This is done by allowing the fill tube to fall to one side, draining the water out of the inside tubes.

The top (long) AquaDam® is draining and no longer has head pressure inside to hold it into place. It can now be removed by using a strap surrounding the end of the AquaDam®. A flock of resident geese continually patrolled, in single file, the perimeter of the water-filled cofferdam. AquaDams® are very environmentally friendly.

The AquaDam® is deflated (buoyant in the water) so it can be pulled from the bank, out of the river. Notice the gap in between the two AquaDam®s in the river. As the top AquaDam® is being pulled onto the bank, the rest of the AquaDam® snakes along.
