AquaDam / Water Structures
Page 2 |
The crew continues to roll up the AquaDam®, with each worker alternately cranking and then holding the ratchet to prevent it from unrolling.

The straighter the AquaDam® is unrolled, the easier it will be to deploy next time. If the AquaDam® starts to roll over to one side or the other, you will start losing the board on that side. The side that is gaining more material (losing board) should be pulled backward to straighten it back out again. If this is not possible, then the other end should be pulled forward.

As the AquaDam® is rolled up bit by bit, the water remaining inside is forced out the other end.

If the AquaDam® was turned during installation, you must turn it the same way during rerolling to keep it straight.
