During the dewatering sequence, several canoes floated by, and due to the AquaDams® they were not inconvenienced by muddy fill during their day on the river.

The dewatering is now well underway, and the AquaDams® are holding up wonderfully. The volume of leakage was nearly nonexistent. Notice how clean the water on the right side of the AquaDams® is. 

Under Mississippi State Law, the amount of environmental damage caused by a project of this magnitude would have been illegal. Sandbags would have been totally ineffective, and sheet piling would have been cost prohibitive. With the quickness and ease of installation provided by the AquaDams®, however, the pipeline crew was able to begin work the very next day.
