Before dewatering begins, the AquaDams® were backed up with onsite fill material to give them even more structural support.

If the excavator were to punch a hole in the bag, it could undo hours of work. Finesse is the way to go when using heavy equipment next to an AquaDam®. They are strong enough to hold back thousands of gallons of water, but they cannot stand up to abuse from a 50 ton machine.  

The Komatsu finishes backing up the AquaDams®, and the pumps are primed for dewatering.
