The river has now been reduced to half of its former width. The water velocity along the outside edge of the AquaDam® has increased dramatically. 

The larger the AquaDam® is, the greater the pressure it contains. Therefore many workers are required to hold back a very large AquaDam®.

As the 6' AquaDam® is rolled out, a 4' coupling collar is laid at a 90 degree angle to it, and the AquaDam® is allowed to unroll over it.
