The AquaDam® is now fully installed, and the flow has been increased drastically. The dry riffle has become a fish-passable stream. Notice all of the rocks forming the pool; they were all picked out of the path of the AquaDam® during installation. 

Please note that the water on the right side of the AquaDam® is not due to leakage. The picture was taken shortly after installation and water had not had time to run off.   

This overall view of the installation makes the difference in flow rate obvious. Only an hour before this stream was completely impassable to migrating adult salmon trying to return to their spawning grounds.
