Pumping begins and the AquaDam® starts to inflate. The two men at the end
are preventing the AquaDam® from rolling out by itself, allowing pressure
to build up inside and sealing the AquaDam® to the streambed. The man on
the right is removing rocks from the path of the AquaDam®.
The AquaDam® is inflating steadily now, and the increased water pressure at
the raised end means that more people are required to keep it from unrolling
itself. Notice the rock-remover; he is now downstream, on the route the structure
will follow.
The first AquaDam® is now fully inflated, and a larger 2.5' AquaDam®
is now being attached to the sealed end via a coupling collar. As it is
completely unrolled and inflated to its full capacity, the first AquaDam®
is now structurally stable from rolling.
