The water depth that needs to be controlled is along the outside edge of the AquaDam®. In this case, the AquaDam® will be sitting on a hillside when full which will help support the AquaDam®. The slope of the river channel from one side of the AquaDam® to the other is dramatic.

The work area is being pumped out. Both sides of the rivers' banks were cofferdammed off so that the work site was isolated in one work day.
