The dewatering pump intake hose is only 20' long, and of course it needs to reach
to the deepest part of the dewatered hole. The owner improvised by using this
yacht lift to sit the pump on the AquaDam®. If the AquaDam® had for some reason
been deflated, the pump would be kept out of the water.
The last little bit of water is too far away for the large pump to reach,
so small portable pumps are used to finish the job. The 5' x 50' AquaDam®
works not only as a backup dam, but also as a platform to set the pumps on.
You can see the closed end of the smaller AquaDam® has an attachment collar
over the last 15'.
