The AquaDam® connects to the other bank by the end of the day. The final filling will begin first thing in the morning to make sure that dewatering can be started soon after. This wall was supposed to be finished before installation of the AquaDam®, so the rebar and the forms had to be covered with a gravel berm.

The next morning, the 12' high AquaDam® was filled to its capacity.

Due to the great water depth and the fact that the work area needed to be completely dewatered, a 5' AquaDam® was used to "back up" the 12' unit. It was completely unrolled along the top of the larger dam so that it could easily be pulled into position.

Since seepage under this dam was not a problem, the rocks did not have to be removed. A cloth protective wrap was laid down to protect the 5' AquaDam® from the jagged rocks.
