Four concrete trucks were on site to ensure that the boat ramp could be poured all at one time. A large cement-pump truck worked very well for getting the concrete to the lower parts of the boat ramp.

The concrete was poured through the large hose, which could move over any given point of the pour area.

The concrete trucks dump into the back of the concrete pump truck, and the driver stands on the bank and pilots the boom by remote control. This system worked great to get the concrete to the lower parts of the boat ramp. Notice the extra height of the cofferdam compared to the surrounding water.

Once the pour is complete, the wet concrete is raked to make it rougher and therefore easier for tires to grip.
