Stream Diversion Phase One Antelope Creek Lincoln, CA (2000)
Discharge hoses have been inserted into the fill tube far enough
so that they are also inside the black outer tube. This is a very
short crossing, and does not require use of the entire rolled AquaDam®.
It is time to start the pumps. Workers stand behind the AquaDam®
to prevent it from unrolling prematurely. The stream flow is always
trying to move the uninflated AquaDam® downstream.
Workers are holding back the AquaDam® as it inflates. Head pressure
inside the AquaDam® must be maintained higher than the surrounding
water. Stream water starts flowing down the diversion channel.
