two inner tubes sticking out and up from the middle portion of the coupling
collar. These are the extra fill tubes located at the open end of each AquaDam®.
Step1: When the second section is filled, the water hoses can be removed from the inner tubes. The fill tubes are rewrapped with duct tape tightly and in such a manner that the tubes will standup by themselves (see the Woodlawn Lake Sediment Removal project in San Antonio, TX). If possible, use duct tape to attach the two upright inner tubes together, making them even more stable and preventing water from leaking out. Gravity will keep the water from rising above the height of the fill tubes.
