This is a picture looking towards the back of the motel. 

Here, a 3' high AquaDam® was abutted directly into the side of the building to make a water-tight seal. Always make sure that the building will support the AquaDam® when it is fully inflated. Sandbags placed between the bottom of the AquaDam® and the building will help to relieve the immense pressure.

These AquaDams® consist of a 1' high (white) by 300' long and a 3' high by 300' long. The small dam was sized for the forecast high water, but when it became clear that it would not be enough the 3' was installed behind it.
