300 linear feet of 3 foot high AquaDams® were used to keep rising water levels from flooding the basement of the City Municipal Building in Renton, Washington.  

 The bottom floor of the building is underground. It houses the building's electrical system, water heaters, and other expensive items normally found in modern public buildings. Because of this, even the smallest amount of floodwater would completely fill up the bottom floor and cause major damage.
