This is the first section of the stone wall (out of a total of 1500 feet)
that was being built using sandbags. Moving sandbags was labor intensive
even though the water depths were shallow. The client needed a faster,
quicker alternative to stay on budget in order to construct the additional
sections of the wall.
This is an example of the effort it takes to build a sandbag wall.
Each sandbag has to be individually placed and the foot traffic causes a
muddy mess. Then it all has to be removed, one bag at a time. The easily
accessible lake water can be used to fill the AquaDam® and then can be
released again. Quick, effective, and mess-free. Using water to control water.
