The water has been pumped out, revealing the poor condition of the boat ramp and surrounding walls. All of this area is scheduled for new construction.

You can clearly see the sandy muck and other obstacles that were a hindrance to the effective operations of the marina. The owner of the marina was not satisfied with the installtion of the AquaDam®s claiming there was too much leakage under the AquaDam® and decided to call off the project. The discharge of water over the top of the AquaDam® and into the greater Tahoe Lake was also deemed unacceptable by the client. Water Structures Unlimited had stated to the client that seepage would occur under the dams and that dewatering pumps would need to run continually to maintain a dry work area.
