Pumps were set upon the first AquaDam®. The second AquaDam® was starting to inflate with water.

Under its own internal head pressure, the second AquaDam® slowly unrolled out across the lake. The unrolling process needed to be guided so that the AquaDam® unrolled out in an arc. Ropes placed around the AquaDam® kept it from going in a straight line.

Pumps are turned off on one of the inside tubes to compensate for the difference in radius of the inside and outside tubes. This kept the AquaDam® from straightening out.
