This is the project site before operations to dewater the small overflow dam which is built into the corner of the lake shore. The lake is used heavily during summer months. Water depth needed to be maintained for boating activities and wildlife.   

The AquaDams® needed to be placed in this location. The banks on both ends of the proposed AquaDam® installation needed to be cleared of rip-rap (rocks, etc.)

You can measure the water depth using a straight pole and a small boat. Notice how far away from the bank the AquaDam® needs to be installed to allow for future construction purposes. The water depth at the new concrete pour is where the correct water depth soundings needed to be established.
